  1. Great campsite but it is not wild. It is set amongst ancient woodland which is a real pleasure to explore. There may be scope for negotiating wilder camping options with the operator because there were bushcraft activities and wild camping in some adjacent woods but that is only a suggestion.

New flushing loos and washing facilities have just been installed, there is an outdoor shower available. There is a drinking water tap but the feed tap was turned off.

ÔÇÿThe MeadowÔÇØ big field with pitches all around the edge, loos and a tap. When I went there was only about 6-8 pitches occupied so plenty of room. It did feel like the pitches were close together, if one had neighbours either side it would certainly be very close.

    ÔÇ£The ClearingÔÇØ
Smaller ÔÇ£cosyÔÇØ camping area. There was a private group here whilst I was staying. It looked like it is well suited for a private group. If not in a private group, I would be expecting to be close to other campers and be socialising closely with them during the stay.

Very family oriented, lots of kids, nice atmosphere all around and everyone having good fun. The ancient woodland is great and I would come back again to explore it more. I would suggest updating the details as the price has gone up quite a bit, the rating has changed, and the contact details donÔÇÖt work.
