The location for the Camp was in the Midland, set in a peaceful, idyllic, 10 acre organic orchard, set in Shropshire’s rolling hills.
This Themed Camp combined the opportunity to join a Nearly Wild Camping social event along with the opportunity to learn from an experienced thematic provider. This first one focused on bushcraft.

In 1995 Dave set up Woodland Survival Crafts and is one of the most experienced trainers of Bushcraft in the UK. In 2007 he instigated the now Bushcraft Professional Practice Group within the Institute for Outdoor Learning.
Along with other professionals they has been championing good practice within the outdoor profession, creating suitable awards along the way.
