Winter talks

Winter Talk – Landscape Photography with Ben Barendrecht – 10th March

Dutch photographer Ben Barendrecht is fascinated by landscapes: how they change in the light; the stories that are held within them and the weather systems hanging above them all.

In this talk, Ben guides us through his photography processes, from selecting rock formations to waiting for exactly the right light.

Ben’s enthusiasm for the mountains of his Scottish home (and further afield!) is infectious and inspiring – we hope you enjoy watching back!

Winter Talk – Suzi Drew on Campfire Cooking – 25th February

Location provider Suzi Drew guides us through her favourite family recipes to cook around the campfire. From pizza to cookies, she shares her recipes, shopping lists and kit for the most delicious campfire dinner.

Winter Talk – Steve and Irene on the Cape Wrath Trail – 11th February

In this talk, Steve & Irene, the founders of Nearly Wild, shared with us their experiences of the Cape Wrath Trail. The Cape Wrath Trail is a long-distance walk from Fort William to the most north westerly point of mainland Britain, Cape Wrath.
