Website now live

Breaking news! Our new website is now live, thanks to Moghill Web Services. Check it out and let us know what you think.

After a couple of months of hard work and tweaking by us and Moghill Web Services our new website is now live for the world to see. We can’t open for members joining yet as our co-op papers haven’t come back, but there’s lots to admire in the meantime!

Do let us know what you think.

Just got to say I really like your new website, its a vast improvement over your wordpress(dot)com blog.

Have been interested reading about the whole project you have underway for a while now and like the idea of some sort of sanctioned wild camping spots rather than just trying to hide away as much as possible when sleeping on someones land for the night but just have a few questions.

Will we still be able to turn up unannounced even in the middle of the night and make camp or will the landowners require advance warning?

I cant see a list of sites (I know its early days yet) and was wondering when you are thinking of putting some up?

Your plan has peaked my interest and I will be keeping a lookout to see how things are progressing.

    All the Best

Thank you Carl for your kind words and interest.

It won’t be possible to turn up unannounced I am afraid, not with the way we have got things currently set up as you will need to book through the website. Each of the location profiles will specify how much warning they want.

We have a few example locations on the website at the moment, but we cannot sign any up properly until we are an official co-operative (hopefully in a couple of weeks time) and from then we will be getting as many as we can! We are planning on opening booking in mid-May.

This blog is the best place, as well as on facebook and twitter, to find out how it’s going.

Glad to know you are keeping an eye on us and always keen for feedback and support, so thank you.
      Warm wishes
